Career
Growing up in Salt Lake City, Mike started riding bikes at the age of two. His first bike was a 16-inch Mongoose that didn't have training wheels! Learning how to ride a bike the hard way developed Mike's skills and at 10 years old, he started riding BMX bikes. When he was 14, he was riding competitively around the country. At just 18 years old, Mike already had a distinguished style of riding. He has competed in the X-Games since 2000 and his best finish has been fifth place in the Dirt competition. Mike's career highlights include taking second place in the 2003 Vans Triple Crown in the Dirt and taking third place at the 2007 Dew Tour in his hometown of Salt Lake City.
